Local
& Proud
Mare's Nimble Thimble was born from a simple belief: homeowners in Cambridge deserve a repair service that shows up on time, does honest work, and charges fairly — without the corporate runaround.
Based right here on US Highway 12, we know this community. We've fixed homes on these streets, worked with neighbors who've become friends, and built a reputation one project at a time. When you call us, you're not getting a franchise — you're getting Mare, the team, and a genuine commitment to your satisfaction.

We're not the biggest crew in the state — and that's exactly why you should call us.
We respect your schedule. When we say we'll be there, we're there — no vague windows, no excuses.
Clear quotes before we start. No surprise charges, no hidden fees — just fair prices for quality work.
We actually care about the work we do. Your home matters to us, and it shows in every detail.
We live here too. We know Cambridge, we value our reputation, and we treat every neighbor like a friend.
"Mare's Nimble Thimble turned our tired bathroom into something we actually enjoy. Professional, tidy, and genuinely kind. We couldn't be happier."
